1. Right decision Doc. All my diesels I use and used before were soft-wares upgraded. The last one is my XC70AWD with stage two Main Benefits: - better torque curve = very nice and smooth acceleration - less fuel consumption ~ -1.ltr/100 km Amount of the fuel I save per month is not so big ~ 30 ltr. But the driving satisfaction with no comments because no need to turn the engine in red line or close to it to get the smooth acceleration. Other words to say you do the same job at less rpm's. Note-at first time the consumption of the fuel will jump up, because force of habit is strong enough. It takes time to adjust the pressure of your right foot as well as you will enjoy of driving. Software upgrades were made by my neighbor, he is the best chiptuner in my country. He don't use the chip inserts such available in eBay. What he do is he just rev-write the ECU software. He always asks which stage you want sir 1.2.3?? Now the biggest clients for him are an expedition companies. The amount of fuel they can save is really very significant.
2. beniji... carb is sitting wrong in the rubber manifold seems that you need to correct it.
3. Just my thoughts regarding pit on to the curve (I don't claim that I am right ) I think that there is aggregate of the cases. Main one - to less fuel mixture speed before valves choke point. First reason of this - ports cross section in key points are to big and it kills the speed of the mixture which is very important parameter. Speed of the mixture prevent fuel back pushing in to the intake ports and at the same time improves combustion chamber filling with it = bigger speed means bigger weight = bigger weight means more material for combustion. Tc cam has increased valve overlapping time and opening height, as well ignition timing is early with the Blue CDI. Next one - the weight of the valves and its components. It is very hard to achieve good performance with heavy components because they start to vibrate at top revs and it also kills the power. The weight is the main benefice of titanium which express at high rpm's.
4. Pay attention to curve of my bike. The type of both are the same. I had no idea regarding of the reason of it, as far I asked to Ron Hamp - where could be the root of the problem. After video watch he said that the problem is wheel slipping on to the roll. The only difference between you and me is that during my bike revving no one didn't seat on it. But.... types of the curves are the same.....
5. Did you or dino guy seat on to the bike during revving??
6. Factory always shows the power curves at the crank, calls as BHP - braking horse power = it is power directly from the crank without any gearbox, alternators, pumps and so on. The loses in the clutch, gearbox, alternator and chain transmission is approximately 13% it means that you need curve numbers multiply by 1.13 and then the numbers will be match to BHP.
7. looks good, I suppose this is at the rear wheel?? Or from crank?? Please add the torque as well this is much more important...

sm610e CDI

Hi Nation, looking for the CDI (black box) of te-sms 610 E 1999-2004 model years. grus:)
9. Soda is much to soft to deface even plastic. Oxidation will make the biggest harm for bearing seats.
10. Try to clean it with the formic acid if you could find it. After that wash it wit the water and process with the backing soda blaster, it will stop the oxidation process. As much I can see from the pics the process is going on at full speed. Other way - try to find household cleaner PINE-SOL and deep the parts in it. After that again you will need to process the parts with the backing soda, to stop oxidation.
11. Hi Benjamin, what gearing ratio you use??? grus: andis
12. Moin Thomas, pics you asked Yes sure I have seen the Zupin 570 cranks: This is HTM 570 crank, only pure race, it's kill crankcase: lol: Only thing I can not Understood for what they tried balancing play with: This is JPJ 570 crank: This is my 570: And this is modded 610E of my body's husqy: Here are data's for your brain storming:
13. Yes sure I have seen the Zupin 570 cranks. This is HTM 570 crank, only pure race, it kill's crankcase  Only thing I can't understood for what they tried play with balancing  This is JPJ 570 crank mod This is my of 570: And this also my but for 610E of my body: Here are data's for your brain storming : Rolleyes:
14. Yip those ducati's cranks looks also very impressive. The crank I added is the last made, to say it is more experiment now. At this moment no ideas what will be with the vibration, but according to estimation must be well, because 570 crank after mods became much more better instead of stock. Generally there is less 430 gr of rotation mass an +3mm at stroke. Total effective volume 599,6 cm3. And the rod you could see on to the picture is the last one rod sold separately. grus: andis
15. Ok guys I'll ad the oil in the fire discussion
16. I just waiting to heard your ride impressions.. .control suspension engine and blabla bla. Sure German is problem
17. Waiting for the test report, would be nice to get the in ENG version... moom google still cant translate properly Soon will put my report... need to collect a pictures and make better video  But generally looks really nice Benjamin
18. yes I mean the same which pictures possible to see everywhere in the net, even here. From my point of view , they tried to make bike shorter and higher what definitely helps for cornering. This-wise I asked to you to ask for shock length from zupin. For example take two dirt crf's 450 & 250 . 250 is higher and it is handling in the deep corners better. I assume that zupin guys tried to reach something similar. But of course this is just moi point of view, maybe I am wrong. I tend to think, that you have the problems to fit the seat as well....
19. pay attention to the delephine bike geometry, here seems approx similar from my point of view.
