Die Gewichtsersparniss ist aber sicherlich hoch:buttrock:

Trifft leider nicht immer bei Carbon zu. Ich kenne die Carbonrahmen aus dem Downhill bereich und da ist die Ersparnis nicht sehr mächtig.

Weil:

Carbon kann Kräfteeinwirkungen in erster Linie nur auf Zug absorbieren. Rennradrahmen z.B. sind hauchdünn. Fällt dir das Teil um, knickts, wenns dumm fällt, zusammen wie Papier. Deshalb wird ein extrem belastbarer DH-Rahmen wesentlich dicker Konstruiert. In aktuellen Fällen sind die Rahmen im Bereich des Steuerkopfs und des Tretlagers VOLLMATERIAL. Was wieder zu ordentlich Gewicht führt. In allgemeinen geht man bei tragenden Teilen wegen der Steifigkeit auf Carbon. Es "flext" also weniger als Alu. Alu ist nicht dauerschwingfest, was früher oder später je nach Belastung zur Materialermüdung/Brüchen führt. Wenn Carbon als tragendes Teil verwendet wird ist es auch entsprechend dick und keineswegs mehr "leicht".

..viele schöne Details an dem Bike,

nur der Endtopf ist etwas zu lang geraten, oder eben zu Steil, wie auch immer..Geschmacksache !
