Ben
Die Antwort: Benjamin we run the stock exhaust on all of our bikes. Actually on 2013 and 2014 CRFs they work really well. The only riders who can keep up with Sylvain so far are two world champions Benjamin, wir fahren den Serienauspuff an allen unseren Motorrädern.

Auszüge: Update:$200 JE 13.5:1 Piston and a $60 Fastcore Mods ECU reflash = AMAZING! The bike feels amazing. I really feel the $260 invested paid off much bigger dividends than a $600 exhaust. Bike has more power everywhwere!!! Amazing Throttle response. MY opinion is that most people that change exhaust and re-flash ECU are just realizing the power gains of the ECU tuning and not necessarilly the Exhaust system You got that right, stock exhaust isn't that bad... especially for us mortals... ---> Scheint da einen Unterscheid zw. US- und EURO-Version zu geben !?! (Uuups: meine ist ja eine US-Kiste!! ) Everybody thats done back to back tests with Exhausts has found almost zero gains on the dyno. The brain dyno says its faster because it makes a little more noicse. I noticed that when I was having to get my exhaust fixed and put the stock muffler back on I rode the bike harder because it didnt seem to make the noise I though it should, shifted later etc. In the end, I was going faster for sure. I did notice the weight difference though. My OEM pipe is about 5 pounds heavier than my Thunder Alley. The problem with all the exhaust tests I have seen is that they simply run the OEM fuel and spark mapping, making no changes for any free'r-flowing exhaust system. This is a big issue because when changing the exhaust you're adding more airflow to an already "too lean" map! It's too lean with the stock exhaust, and even leaner with an aftermarket higher-flow system installed. This means that BOTH the OEM exhaust and aftermarket outputs would be higher on power output if a proper map was created for each different exhaust configuration tested. This does still mean, though, that much (over stock) isn't gained with an exhaust swap... you absolutely can get gains on top with exhaust and mapping, but not worth the $ to me.That said there is much more to gain from porting the head and an HC piston. Much more everywhere. Stock exhaust can be used with a setup like this, I did it, ran great. Soll in jedem Fall nochmal Leistung bringen!! .....I was just concerned that the core was so small that bigger outlets wouldn't make a difference on our mufflers. I haven't had the OEM mufflers apart, yet, obviously, but sounds like you think they're a good option for more flow on the duals? So the OEM core diameter is sufficiently larger than the OEM outlet diameter, in other words? Yes the cores are much larger than the outlet. The stock end caps have a piece that insert into the core a couple inches and reduce the outlet size. We'll see..!?!
Sespri
